Two ways to delete your PlateStack account. Both fully purge your data within 30 days. No phone calls, no retention scripts.
Option 1 — Inside the app (recommended)
- Open PlateStack and sign in.
- Go to Settings.
- Tap Account.
- Tap Delete account.
- Confirm. We'll send a verification email to confirm the request.
Once confirmed, your account is queued for permanent deletion. Your logs, profile, achievements, and crew memberships are removed.
Option 2 — By email
If you can't access the app, email support@platestackapp.com from the address associated with your account, with the subject line "Delete my account". We'll verify your identity and process the deletion.
What gets deleted
- Your profile, email, and authentication credentials
- All food logs, workout logs, cardio logs, and body metrics
- Personal records, streaks, XP, levels, achievements, and quest history
- Crew memberships (the crews themselves persist for other members; your activity entries are anonymized)
- Any progress photos uploaded to your account
- Saved foods and recipe library
- AI Coach chat history
What might persist
- Subscription / billing records — held by Apple, Google, or RevenueCat per their retention policies. We don't store your payment data ourselves.
- Anonymous diagnostic logs — crash logs and aggregated performance data that can't be linked back to you.
- Legal-compliance records — limited records we are required to retain by law.
Timeline
Account deletion is processed within 30 days of confirmation. Most data is purged within 24 hours; the 30-day window covers backup rotation. After 30 days, no account-linked data remains in our active systems.
Subscriptions
Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an active App Store or Google Play subscription. Cancel from your platform's subscriptions screen first, or you may continue to be billed.
